False Victory

I recently saw a post by Mojang (See here: [link] ) about winning a trip to Minecon this year by submitting stuff to a threadless design contest and I figured "Hey, I have art things, and I like to win." so I was going to enter.

Of course, being me, I started making stuff before I even knew the rules and restrictions. Come to find out half way in that I can only use 8 colors...

Oops.

I decided to keep going with what I had because I liked it though, and this is what i ended up with.

Idk about anyone else but I think its WONDERFUL.
I was in no way expecting it to come out so good.
Zero ways.

Originally It was just going to be Steve with the diamond with maybe some sort of stone block texture background? Like he was in a mine? Maybe with some other ore blocks in the walls here and there, but as i was making that something in my brain was just like CREEPER and then this happened.
Personalty, I think it's perfect this way. I have no idea what I was thinking beforehand lol.

Made with Gimp using textures from Minecraft (pulled straight from Minecraft.jar and resized/tweaked)
